Our\u00a0Merino Wool V-Neck Jersey<\/b><\/span>\u00a0embodies classic design, made from the finest wool of our merino sheep that graze on our farm near Loeriesfontein in the Namaqualand region. This piece is a true lifetime investment\u2014designed to stay in your wardrobe for years and never lose its timeless appeal.<\/p>\n

Embroidered with our signature\u00a0quiver tree logo<\/b><\/span>\u00a0on the left chest, this V-neck jersey features a\u00a0medium-length body<\/b><\/span>\u00a0with full-length sleeves and a flattering hem that sits at hip height.<\/p>\n

Made from\u00a0100% merino wool yarn<\/b><\/span>, this jersey is machine-knitted and proudly crafted in our factory in Paarl, South Africa, offering natural luxury and exceptional craftsmanship with every wear.<\/p>\n

HOW TO WASH YOUR WOOL GARMENT<\/h2>\n

Washing wool is easy. Wool is naturally stain resistant, odour resistant and also crease resistant, so actually requires less washing. This means that caring for wool is both easy and gentle on the planet. The wool Gerber and Co use for our knits are not Superwashed\/Hecrosect, meaning Superwash wool yarns have been treated with chlorine to remove the scales that coat the wool fibre and then the fibres are given a plastic coating. Removing some of the warming abilities and the odour resistant properties, making that the garment needs to be washed more frequently.<\/p>\n

When it is time to wash wool clothes, we prefer hand washing. Do not wash your wool garment in a washing machine. Turn your wool garment inside out, then hand wash in clean, tepid water, using a small amount of mild and gentle detergent (preferably a Wool mark-approved detergent like Wool Lite). Rinse thoroughly in tepid water. Do not soak, bleach, machine wash or tumble dry. Never twist, or scrub as it can damage the knit, rather press out the excess water.<\/p>\n

CARING FOR WOOL<\/h2>\n

It is recommended that garments are turned inside out before washing wool. This will prolong the item\u2019s \u2018as new\u2019 look and feel.<\/p>\n

AIRING<\/h2>\n

To remove cigarette or food odors, lay knitted wool garments flat on a bed or towel for an hour. Woven garments may be hung in fresh air on a suitable hanger.<\/p>\n

FOLD KNITS, HANG WOVENS<\/h2>\n

Knitted garments should be gently folded and stored in drawers. Woven garments can be hanged on padded hangers.<\/p>\n

RESTING<\/h2>\n

Rest wool garments for 24 hours before wearing again. This gives the natural resilience and spring in the wool fibre time to recover and return to its original shape.<\/p>\n

DRY AWAY FROM DIRECT SUNLIGHT OR HEAT<\/h2>\n

If wool gets wet, dry the garment at room temperature away from direct sunlight or heat.<\/p>\n

LONG-TERM STORAGE<\/h2>\n

Since food stains and body oils attract moths, you should ensure your wool garment is clean before packing it away in airtight bags or containers. Ideally use a moth repellent but do not place directly on the garment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
